Sand Ridge B&B will close at the end of April 2016.
It has been a wonderful seven years, filled with delightful, interesting guests, many of whom are now treasured friends.
While the B&B will no longer operate, the native garden will remain open to the public and interested gardeners are invited to visit.
About the House
Situated on a wooded hillside in the country, you will have ample opportunity to relax inside your lovely bedroom, the loft-library, or the comfortable living room. If you prefer the outdoors, you can take a seat and enjoy the fresh air and migrating birds and butterflies.
You have your choice of a room with a Queen-sized bed or a room with two twin beds. Both bedrooms come with attached full-bathrooms for your convenience.
What about Breakfast?
Connie specializes in vegan and vegetarian cooking; however, she will be happy to accommodate any dietary need.
Breakfasts feature healthy, locally produced foods, such as eggs from Jenkinson Farm and Garden; Paw Paw Jam and goat cheese from Integration Acres; maple syrup from Sticky Pete's; bacon from King Family Farm; coffee from Ridge Runner Coffee; and, of course, seasonal produce from the Athens Farmers' Market.
Sand Ridge B&B is within a 10-minute drive of Athens, Ohio, where you can enjoy many unique outdoor adventures, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. Ohio University also calls Athens home – visiting parents and family members of Ohio students enjoy the country atmosphere and reasonable rate of Sand Ridge B&B.
